A music concept for the integration and inclusion
of disadvantaged children and young people
Like no other form of artistic expression, music offers the possibility to establish direct contact with others.
It has the power to reach people across cultural barriers with all their senses and emotions.
In this plainness music can foster openness.
GERMAN MUSIC COUNCIL
We respond individually to children & young people:
Your wishes and goals are the programme:
We pick up children with their musical interests:
Examples of possible modules:
- Organise regular music meetings, workshops and performances
- Active low-threshold music-making with the help of body percussion, tambourine, cajon, sound tubes, tablets, etc.
- Composing, writing and recording self-composed songs with the children
- Preparation of instrumentals of the children's favourite songs for active involvement when making music
- Initiate conversations among the children & young people for better intercultural and social understanding through song discussions
- Playful teaching of skills in contemporary arranging, recording and producing with digital media.
A Place To Grow
Music stimulates, helps to express feelings, connects people and cultures with each other, creates solidarity, strengthens the sense of community
